For an owner, deciding what comes next can be as personal as it is commercial. Nordpoint’s approach starts with your priorities, the team you’ve built and the relationships that underpin the business.
The goal is to acquire one company and lead it directly. With a focus on essential services, we’re looking for strong foundations and the opportunity to build on them.

Sam founded Nordpoint to acquire one established UK business and lead it personally, working alongside its team and building on the foundations its owner has created.
He brings a decade of investment and finance experience across real estate and asset-backed businesses, spanning investment analysis, transaction execution and portfolio management. He has worked closely with lenders, advisers and operating partners to arrange finance and complete complex transactions across the UK and Europe. His approach combines commercial discipline with a collaborative manner, building trust through clear communication, sound judgement and a commitment to seeing things through.
Coming from an entrepreneurial family, Sam also appreciates the personal commitment behind building a business. Choosing a successor involves the future of your team, the relationships you have built and the reputation you have earned. His starting point is to listen: to understand what makes your business successful, what matters to you and how you would like the next chapter to take shape.
Sam holds an Executive MBA from Imperial Business School, where he received Dean’s List recognition for academic excellence and the David Begg Prize for Economics. He also holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and a BA from Regent’s University. He is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).

Nordpoint Capital takes its name from the fixed point around which navigators orient everything else: the north point on a compass. Before GPS and satellite navigation, it provided a constant and dependable reference against which every bearing, route and decision could be assessed. That principle of maintaining a clear and consistent point of orientation underpins Nordpoint Capital’s operating philosophy.
Acquiring a business brings a responsibility to honour what has been built and care for its future. We seek to understand the owner’s legacy, preserve the relationships that give the business its strength, and earn the confidence of those who depend on it.
We believe in leading by example: acting with integrity, keeping our commitments and taking responsibility for our decisions. That means treating owners, employees, customers, suppliers and investors with fairness and respect, and exercising sound commercial judgement without compromising our principles.
